Fogfield House, Thornthwaite
Following its hay cut in August 2015, the site here was grazed by cattle and harrowed to prepare the ground and open up the sward prior to seed spreading. On the following day, seed that had been brush harvested from Muker, the donor Coronation Meadow, in July - and had since been stored and dried in a nearby barn - was spread by hand and through a leaf blower. Cattle returned to Fogfield House for further grazing throughout late summer.
