St Fagans Orchard
Lying within the grounds of the popular heritage attraction of St Fagans National History Museum is a small open orchard of cherry and apple trees.
In summer 2015, seed was collected by hand from Parish Field, the donor Coronation Meadow for South Glamorgan and was then spread on the land beneath the orchard. Some of the collected seed has been grown to plant out as plugs later in 2016. It is hoped that species such as ox eye daisy, bird's-foot trefoil, devil's-bit scabious and betony will establish here and thrive.
