Tyddyn Afon, Glan Conwy
Nestled on a slope next to the river, two pastures have not been ploughed or re-seeded since the war. Years of continuous grazing, though, have prevented many wildflowers from seeding. The effect of this over time has been to reduce the diversity of flowers in the pasture.
It is due to receive seed from the Conwy Coronation Meadow, Mosshill, remarkable for its display of wildflowers, especially devil’s-bit scabious and knapweed in late summer.
