Recipient Meadow

This site of just under a hectare, which has been sympathetically managed as species rich grassland for many years, will be further enhanced. Works began in summer 2014 when seed harvested from Anglesey's donor Coronation Meadow was spread over the ground here, which had been scarified in preparation. It is hoped that in future, wild orchids will establish here and thrive.

Above, seed is harvested from Plas Newydd, the donor meadow.
